The time has come to part ways with your beloved toothbrush. We recommend that you replace your toothbrush about every three to four months. Our dentist and team are here if you need advice on picking the toothbrush that best suits your needs.

Toothbrush Head

Your toothbrush’s head should be small so that it easily reaches all areas of your mouth. The bristles of the toothbrush should be soft, or even extra soft. Toothbrushes with medium or hard bristles could potentially damage your tooth enamel. It is also recommended that the bristles of the toothbrush have different lengths so that the brush can easily access the grooves of the teeth. Choose the shape of your toothbrush head based on your individual preference.

Toothbrush Handle

There are different types of toothbrush handles available. You may select a non-slip grip handle, a handle with a flexible neck, or whatever is the most comfortable for you.

Manual vs. Electronic Toothbrushes

As far as choosing whether to use a manual or electronic toothbrush, either type of toothbrush can thoroughly and effectively clean your teeth if used properly. Use whatever is easiest for you.
